I am rather relunctant on shortcuts with the keyword domainname redirecting to http://domainname.com within site namespace (like [o], [de], [deu] ...).

They are OK if there's also a search for this website, i.e. if there is another shortcut with domainname {query}, and the search is also in any way useful to other users.

Otherwise, it would be difficult to draw a line to spam.

You are of course free to set up such shortcuts within your user namespace.
