You can also start discussions about merging or renaming shortcuts. To every discussion, you can link Affected shortcuts, just type their title in the autocomplete. If there are more with the same, you may add all of them (their different IDs will be shown once added). Thus, there will be a link created on the shortcut page, notifying about the discussion.
